Waimea Today: OHA Brings New Life to the Valley

OHA has successfully managed Waimea Valley for four years, since August 2006, when the community and partners to the public acquisition celebrated the passing of title to OHA.

OHA's education and cultural staff have initiated a broad range of programs, from Makahiki to cultural practitioner workshops, halau hula, and Hawaiian movie nights.

A new kalo collection features the red-stemmed kalo historically found in Waimea Valley.

A Tribute to Gerry Meade, Judi Bramlett, and Toni Sickler

With great sadness, we report that the Valley and Coalition lost three of its dear friends in the past few years - three truly amazing North Shore women who gave their heart and soul to the community and the Valley: Aunty Gerry Meade, Judi Bramlett, and Toni Sickler

May their spirit of aloha live on in their beloved Waimea Valley forever.
